These are not the Droids you are looking for......

We are the silent majority (the left-center, centrist, and right center moderates)! As political Jedi it is our duty to express a moderate viewpoint that counters the current ideological gridlock. Yes, many will equate that sentiment as being anti-Tea Party but I see it being the prevailing discourse in DC, left wingers are just as adamant in their political ideology and, in some case, even more hypocritical.

Our task is an uphill battle. We must first take on the the political hacks and shrills who blunt any attempt to express a moderate and balanced viewpoint with their ideological blather and shrouded in hypocrisy. The political establishment and their entrenched bases are weak minded clones, marching expressionless to the orders of their overlords. Only through critical independent thinking, not beholden to special interest or ideological rigidity can we counter the establishment.

So what we do we face these days?  Clanging bells, or helmet heads (perfect hair plastered into place), dominate the air waves.  Vapid discourse drives the topics of the day.  Partisan hacks and their surrogates scream invectives against those not the same political ilk causing a cacophony of vitriol and stupidity with a whole HELL of a lot of hypocrisy.

But what can we do?  Simple, we can rise up and let our voices be heard.  We can tell these wind bags, enough is enough.  Our country is being ripped at the seams and the partisans are leading the demise.  We can begin with our local politicians; look for new candidates – not the same old voices.  We can do our homework and critically think about solutions, taking out political ideology and instead use…..WAIT FOR IT…..common f’ing sense.  We can petition our state legislatures and governors that we want to break from the current two party paradigm that we want real options not what others want to force feed us.

It is time to march through the political galaxy and vanquish the stupidity and ideological rigidity that now permeates Washington DC.  LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
